Truth Behind "The Pill"

Unfortunately I have come to a disappointing truth. Please take time to read this because I believe it is beneficial to know specifics. You could be married (woman or man), single, or in a relationship… and this information is still relevant. This is something that is not typically discussed or brought up often.

Thankfully my mother in law came upon an article which led to my new research and book reading. (I will post these resources below). The book I have learned from is by Randy Alcorn, “Does Birth Control Cause Abortion?” I have also spoken to a doctor. At first I felt that this might not be true, these people are probably just over the top or too religious. God has prompted me and helped me see the truth. Basically, Birth Control pills and other methods other than [condoms, diaphragm, the sponge, or spermicidal lubricants] are indeed abortifacients.

To start off, with the pill: About 12 mil Americans use this and in the world is about one hundred mil. In the 60’s-70’s, pills were about 150micrograms. Because of the terrible side effects, around 88 they changed it to 20-35 micrograms which is low hormone and the norm in pills now. Seems harmless right? As a reminder, Conception is 23 chromosomes from an egg and 23 chromosomes from sperm join together. Also, Implantation means already conceived human being. It is not after a heart beat forms. Birth Control Pills functions in three different mechanisms. These mechanisms are: 1. Inhibiting ovulation (when eggs are not released so conception cannot happen). 2. Thickening cervical mucus to make it harder for the sperm to reach the egg. 3. Thinning and shriveling the lining of the uterus to where it is unable or less able to facilitate the implantation of a new egg. Thus, if the first fails, then the second one becomes active, then if the second one fails, then the third one becomes active. There is also another complication where BCP’s can interfere with the motion and movements of the fallopian tubes. The baby can starve to death in the tube and never make it to the womb. In the website article the writer said, “your new child will not be able to attach to the wall of your womb where he/she would normally live, grow, and receive nourishment for 9 months. This means your baby will starve to death and his/her remains will be passed along in your next bleeding cycle.” Women can have breakthrough ovulation! Breakthrough ovulation: releasing of an egg and sperm can reach it then fertilize the egg… becoming pregnant. (This is why BCP’s cannot be 100% preventive). In reality, abortions CAN take place. Even though it may be rare or you might not know, the fact remains that it can still happen.

Throwing this in here…
Alcorn stated that “proabortionists have argued that if the Human Life Amendment, which recognizes each human life begins at conception, was to be put into law, this would lead to the banning of both the IUD (insert) and the Pill.”

Let’s discuss for a moment what the companies say. There is a book called the “Physician’s Desk Reference” which has to have information on products based on scientific research and lab tests ordered by the FDA. The book lists many pill manufactures. It explains effects, benefits and risks about any medical product that can be legally prescribed. In EACH passage of their descriptions, there is a sentence that reads: “changes in…the endometrium (which reduce the likelihood of implantation).” Once again the likelihood is low yet is a possibility. Alcorn has called many companies and questioned these mechanisms to the point where the people get uneasy or are very direct. One nurse he reached at “Wyeth-Ayerst” said he was right in his study and was open to sending him reading material. Once he received it, the colorful pamphlet explained the pill did the two main mechanisms. The separate black/white paper at the very bottom read, “alterations include changes in… the endometrium (which reduce likelihood of implantation). ” You might think, ‘oh well there are only some companies that the pill works that way.’ No, it is ALL of the companies. No way to justify that. Do research yourself if you feel uncertain – that is what I did.

I decided to get off Birth Control. To me, if all this was not even true, I would rather be off the pill then having a possibility of killing my children. It is NOT worth the risk with this presented information. For other reasons, I needed to go to the gynecologist. I went to a clinic with a new lady (since I moved). The woman who did my appointment was a 20 plus years experienced nurse practitioner. She said, “I noticed you stopped taking the pill. Would you like to start back up?” I replied, “No ma’am, due to my recent findings and research I have decided to stop taking it.” She asked “Why?” I explained because of the fact it can abort and she said, “Well I am experienced and an expert in this area, so why don’t you tell me what you think?” I began to tell her how the three mechanisms work and that the endometrium is altered from a 5-13mm to a 1.1mm thus reducing oxygen, blood, glycogen, etc. I said therefore making it an abortifacient. She smiled and nodded and said, “Yes, it is an abortifacient.” Boy was I shocked! This nurse I came to find out was actually a Christian herself who functioned in faith and witnessing. I feel very blessed that God allowed this to be revealed to me through an experienced person instead of just reading material.
On another note, there are other birth control methods. There are IUD’s (inserts), such as the “Mirena.” There is also the morning after pill, Depo-provera and Norplant. The morning after pill is just a combination of a lot of birth control pills in high dosages. (Still causing an abortion). The IUD’s contain chemicals which alter the lining of the uterus in making a hostile environment as well. I suggest you do further investigation on these other methods if you feel uneasy. One of my good friends had the Mirena awhile back and God revealed to her the truth of it being an abortifacient. Ask for your eyes to be opened. We are not told this because it is a booming money making industry.

There are some methods that you can use as alternatives which will not abort. They include:
Condoms
Sponges
Diaphragm
Keeping track of your ovulation and temperature
“Pull out method”

What should you do now? I would pray. If needed, fast. I would also do personal research… even if you believe this information or not, read it for your own understanding as well. The book I have been quoting from only cost about $3 for me through Amazon for the Kindle/Ipad.

Now if you do choose to get off the birth control, it is said to NOT get pregnant within the first three months. If you do intake BCP’s, then you may well know that it takes about three months for the BCP’s to get into your system. Likewise, your body needs time to get rid of the extra hormones and for your endometrium to return to normal. There are of course cases where you can get pregnant but it is better to wait.

Another thought… now that you know this information, you are being held accountable. If you choose not to stop taking it without taking other measures to find full truth etc, you WILL stand before God one day and answer to Him.

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done whether good or bad.”
Romans 14:12, “So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.”

I pray this helps you in your walk and that you have guidance and wisdom in decisions. I pray that your eyes may be enlightened with truth and discernment. Jesus, bless this reader and speak to them in ways only You know how to Father. Thank You Daddy that You created them for such a time as this and that they may walk uprightly and in Godly ways. Amen.

Bless you and love you! Please do not take this lightly! Spread the word!
Life does not begin at implantation… it begins at conception!
Abortion does not end at Roe vs Wade!
